A quiet Witnesses & comparison editions section adds only verified supporting evidence, including selected medieval manuscripts for the Confessions, On Music, On Free Choice of the Will, On True Religion, On Genesis Against the Manichaeans, several Ambrose works, and Lucis largitor, without presenting any witness as a direct exemplar or autograph.    Released August 29, 2026. Adds six complete Augustine works from the bridge between Rome and the return to Africa as twelve reciprocal Latin and AVSV readers: On the Greatness of the Soul, On the Teacher, all three books of On Free Choice of the Will, the distinct but linked On the Morals of the Catholic Church and On the Morals of the Manichaeans, and both books of On Genesis Against the Manichaeans. Together they preserve 220 chapters and 534 numbered sections in each language, including exact Augustine–Evodius and Augustine–Adeodatus dialogue order. Five revision-, byte-, and checksum-pinned Latin Wikisource / Corpus Corporum packages are archived unchanged; the served Latin applies 34 Migne-scan-verified transcription corrections while a ledger preserves 16 difficult Migne readings without silently importing later variants. Provenance traces the working text through the digital transcription, Migne PL 32 or PL 34, and the Maurist 1679 recension without inventing manuscript claims. English Scripture locators use modern Arabic numbers and identify both LXX/Vulgate and modern coordinates when they differ. The chronology explicitly separates the Roman beginning of Free Choice Book 1 from Books 2–3, completed later in Africa after Augustine became a priest. Expands the restrained provenance chain for Against the Academics through Migne PL 32 (1841; reissued 1845), the Maurist Benedictine edition of 1679 that Migne directly reproduced, and one grouped stage for the two ninth-century witnesses demonstrably collated by the Maurists, with quiet links to Paris BnF lat. 13369 and Reims MS 382 and no autograph claim. This release also tightens the mobile synced-lyrics header: the redundant mobile label is removed, spacing is reduced, and Resume aligns beneath the one-line song title while Info remains fixed at the right. The header is 61 pixels tall normally and 105 pixels with Resume visible, returning more room to lyrics in Light, Dark, and Retro modes. On mobile, the title and Info control remain together on the first row and Resume remains on its dedicated second row; reduced-motion readers receive a stationary one-line title.    Released August 29, 2026. Adds all nine treatises of Plotinus's First Ennead as reciprocal Ancient Greek and historical English readers. The Greek preserves all 80 chapters of Richard Volkmann's 1883 edition from a commit- and checksum-pinned OpenGreekAndLatin / First1KGreek transcription; the English preserves Stephen MacKenna's 77 native chapters from his public-domain 1917 first edition and its revision-pinned English Wikisource transcription. Linked reading uses an explicit Treatise I.8 crosswalk without silently renumbering MacKenna, citations retain each edition's native chapter numbers, the unnumbered print unit in I.9 receives only an internal Study locator, and Greek punctuation participates correctly in sentence selection. Provenance distinguishes Plotinus's treatises, Porphyry's later Ennead arrangement, Volkmann's edition, each digital transcription, and MacKenna's historical translation; it identifies the work as important Neoplatonic context without claiming that it was the exact unidentified libri Platonicorum read by Augustine. Study now contains 95 records in 46 reciprocal non-Scripture pairs plus three Bible editions. On mobile, the synced-lyrics header now keeps the complete wrapped song title and its Info control together on the first row, and places Resume on a dedicated row beneath them. The controls stay fixed when Resume appears or disappears; desktop layout, lyric scrolling, playback, line timing, and lyric text are unchanged.

Each chain distinguishes the Study edition, A.I.-assisted AVSV translation where present, consulted digital source, identified edition or witness, and original work only where the metadata supports that relationship. Renames Augustine’s English work from Reconsiderations to Retractations throughout the reader, library, tabs, cover, citation previews, and complete Aiden audiobook while retaining stable retractationes IDs, paths, anchors, and saved links. The four-hour read-along replaces only its title lead; all 94 later MP3s remain byte-identical, with 95 timing sidecars and the master rebound to the new display title. This release also audits all 19 Retro cassette assets at full resolution and replaces the 15 legacy inserts that retained thin top-and-bottom template filler with authentic full-height catalog artwork. Ten use title-safe portrait crops and five expand only text-free background areas so every logo and title remains complete.     Clearer AVSV translation disclosure

    Released August 28, 2026. Replaces the redundant descriptive line beneath the AVSV edition in the Canticle of the Creatures provenance chain with English Translation (A.I. Assisted). The separate semantic category remains English translation; provenance relationships, links, dates, translation text, source text, manuscript claims, and licensing remain unchanged. Retro Mode also replaces all 19 cassette images with true-alpha artwork so the clear cases sit directly on the theme instead of white rectangles.     Released August 28, 2026. Corrects the Canticle of the Creatures provenance model so authorship is no longer visually conflated with its surviving manuscript. The chain now distinguishes the AVSV, the Medieval Umbrian source text, its proofread Italian Wikisource transcription, Assisi MS 338 as the earliest surviving mid-13th-century witness and not an autograph, the original composition of c. 1225–1226 whose autograph is not known to survive, and Saint Francis as the composing author. Licensing remains in the secondary disclosure, and no translation, source body, source link, or license changes.
