More Than She Asked (ALIVE in Des Moines Version) is now an official Augustinus Vox single, released September 18, 2026 and available on streaming services.
A mother’s long prayer becomes her son’s praise. Inspired by Monica’s joy in Confessions VIII.12.30, the song follows Augustine from the news of his conversion to the window at Ostia, then opens into the shared thanksgiving of Ephesians 3. Shimmering synths, ringing guitars, and a soaring chorus carry the story in the sound of an 80s rock ballad.

The single offers a first release from the forthcoming Monica project. Work on the full album continues, shaping Augustine’s memories of his mother into songs of prayer, patience, grief, and hope.
ALIVE in Des Moines is an imagined concert presentation by an AI band, with spoken introductions and audience ambience. It is not a recording of a real concert.
